About Havenstead Library

The DCMR-sponsored national library and documentary collection institution for Havenstead.

Havenstead Library preserves documentary and knowledge collections, supports research and reference, provides public access and contributes to learning and cultural life.

It is not The National Archives, a local authority library service, the Department for Education or a copyright tribunal. It does not absorb those functions merely because its work concerns records, learning or publications.

No HRC predecessor is asserted merely because an older resource library, documentation archive, study server or file repository existed. Historical material can form part of the collection without establishing institutional continuity.
